The diaphragm switch operates by sensing material pressing against it. It provides automatic point level indication of free-flowing dry materials and can be installed to detect high, intermediate and low levels. When the switch is pressed, it activates a sensitive micro-switch that can be wired to a visual (light) or audible (horn or bell) alarm to start or stop a process or alert to high, medium or low levels in bins. The BinMaster BM45 is designed for use in bins containing non-hazardous, free-flowing dry materials such as grain, feed, seed or other granular or pelleted materials. The BinMaster BM65 offers UL Class II, Groups E,F & G explosion-proof certification and can be used in environments where there is a risk of combustible dust. Available in both internal and external mounting options – with the external mount offering simple installation and easy access to the operating mechanism. Available as a standard neoprene diaphragm, a heavy-duty neoprene diaphragm or a heavy-duty silicon diaphragm., as well as high temperature options The switches can be used in conjunction with the point level alarm panel, which provides a centralized alert station for four to 24 point level indicators.
