BinMaster’s C-100-SB and C-100-R can interface with the C-50 analog expansion console to provide additional 4-20 mA outputs, enabling monitoring of multiple bins equipped with SmartBob II or Radar sensors from a single C-100 Console. The C-50 Analog Expansion Console connects to the C-100 Console via a dedicated RS-485 cable. Then, the C-100 Console is connected via a daisy chained RS-485 network to monitor from 1 to 128 SmartBob – Radar sensors.
The C-50 is needed when the console is used to monitor more than one bin for analog output to a PLC. Each C-50 holds up to 6 analog expansion cards, with each card providing four 4-20 mA analog loops. Up to five C-50 consoles can be used with one C-100 for a total of 120 bins. Users scroll through bins using the arrow keys. Both SmartBob II and the C-50 Analog Expansion Consoles are programmed and controlled by the C-100 SmartBob Control Console.
