Milk receiving system

Milk delivered to be bottled, or turned into cheeses, ice cream, yogurt or any other dairy product for sale, must have an accurate measurement of the volume of milk they receive. Tankers delivering milk do not have a metering system to measure the flow being pumped out. Many companies rely on using a measuring stick which is inaccurate, and any surface bubbles add to this error.

The cost effective way is to pay for what you actually receive. Custom systems by CONFLOW Technologies, are Weights and Measures Canada approved systems to ensure an accurate accounting of the milk received. This system utilizes a vacuum air eliminator, thereby increasing the accuracy of what the customer is paying for.

BENEFITS OF RECEIVING SYSTEM

  • 75% of the cost of running the plant lies in the cost of the raw material. The true efficiency of the plant lies in accurate measurement throughout the entire process
  • For accounting purposes what is received is critical to understand losses
  • Milk is accurately sampled at reception for QA purposes
  • Pay only for what is received

CONFLOW Technologies offers in addition to milk receiving systems, batch control systems to suit your needs. Installation, commissioning as well as on site calibration services are available.
