Single point as well as multi point float level switches use hermetically sealed reed contacts that are actuated by a magnet in the rising or descending float. As the float rises and falls, the magnetic field causes the switch inside the stem to open or close.
These switches are available as single or in multi float configurations for a multiple alarm setpoints activation. Switches can be supplied as normally open as well as normally closed and are typically used for pump control.
