Capacitance
Sanitary / Dairy

USDA, FDA and 3-A material and design standards for sanitary food and dairy processing. They can be used for high and low level detection in bins, silos, tanks, hoppers, chutes and other vessels used for the storage or manufacture of food or dairy products. They operate by detecting the presence or absence of material in contact with the probe by sensing minute changes (as low as 0.5 pF) in capacitance caused by the difference in the dielectric constant of the material versus the air. They feature a Class II hazardous location rating and are available with a wide assortment of probes and extensions to meet a variety of processing needs.

Capacitance
Flush Mount

Designed for space constrained areas or applications where material flow or bridging may damage a standard probe. It can be mounted on a bin wall, conveyor housing or a chute. The face of the bottom of the FL serves as the capacitance sensor which features Pro-Shield compensation for material build up and an adjustable time delay of up to 30 seconds to ensure accurate readings. The screw-cap enclosure offers easy access to components, which is especially handy in space-constrained installations.

Capacitance
Explosion Proof Applications

Designed for use in hazardous locations, featuring CSA Class I, Groups C & D and Class II, Groups E,F & G ratings. They are suitable for challenging environments where there is a risk of explosion, detecting high and low levels in bins, silos, tanks, hoppers, chutes and other vessels used for volatile material storage or process manufacturing. These intrinsically safe capacitance probes provide interference-free operation – working far below the RF level of 9 KHz at just 6 KHz. – and will not interfere with two-way radios or other equipment operating in the radio spectrum.

Capacitance
Remote Housing for High Temp, Vibration, Hazardous Areas

The Pro Remote capacitance sensor features remote electronics located in a housing that is separated from the probe making it suitable for high temperature, high vibration, or hazardous environments. It is CSA Class II listed and allows for the electronics to be installed up to 75 feet from the sensing probe and the hostile conditions, depending on the required sensitivity. It offers simple, "Quick-Set" calibration and adjustable sensitivity to less than one picofarad, making it highly reliable in a variety of powders, solids, liquids and slurries.

Conductive Probe
Economical 3 probes for high low switching.

Conductivity level probes are used to monitor the level of weakly to strongly conductive fluids in a tank. It is available in single or multi electrode configurations for multiple setpoints. A wide variety of probe lengths and materials of construction are available to match a wide range of applications.

Float Level
Magnetic Tracking

Single point as well as multi point float level switches use hermetically sealed reed contacts that are actuated by a magnet in the rising or descending float. As the float rises and falls, the magnetic field causes the switch inside the stem to open or close.

Float Switch
Magnetically Coupled

As the liquid level rises and falls, the inclination of the float is changed causing a permanent magnet in the float to be deflected which in turn repels a rotatable opposing magnet. This forced snap-action contact effect activates a micro switch.

Vibrating Fork
Compact Size

Designed for low and medium viscosity liquids. Mounted on tanks, it can control filling / emptying, or give fail-safe alarm signals.

Vibrating Fork
Liquid Point Level Switch

Rugged Compact Probe ignores foam and works with all types of liquids independant of viscocity, density and electrical properties.

Hydrostatic
Compact Flush Mount allows for easy cleaning and reduces any build up issues.

Atmosperically and temperature compensated piezo resitive sensor for accurate contents measurement.

Capacitance
For Solids or Liquids

Universal Switch with immunity to conductive and none conductive build up.
